Developed by REX Controls, REXYGEN represents over two decades of research and development and offers graphical programming of control algorithms with function blocks, sequential function charts, and programmable function blocks. It also includes a web-based human-machine interface (HMI) and supports various communication protocols, such as OPC UA, Modbus and others.

REXYGEN provides a unified development environment for all Linux and Windows runtime targets, from small platforms like Raspberry Pi to PLCs, industrial PCs, and even server computers. It serves as the core of the majority of control systems created by REX Controls, and its similarity to Matlab-Simulink makes it easy for those familiar with it to switch over. More than 1000 licenses of REXYGEN have already been delivered worldwide.
