REXYGEN HMI encompasses all necessary tools and libraries for developing human-machine interfaces (HMIs) for the REXYGEN system. It supports three visualization types: WebWatch, WebBuDi, and custom designs created with REXYGEN HMI Designer.
WebWatch automatically generates an HMI during project compilation, offering a quick solution for developers and integrators.
The HMI Designer allows for the creation of graphical interfaces suitable for end users, producing standard SVG files with RexHMI extensions.
WebBuDi offers a simple, text-based interaction method for selected signals.
These tools produce HTML5 web pages, accessible across various devices and recommended to be viewed with Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Custom HMIs can also be developed using JavaScript and HTML or SVG components, leveraging the REX.HMI function library for flexibility.
In version 3 of the REXYGEN system, large visualizations are subject to fees. The complexity is assessed according to the so-called tags. Visualizations with up to 128 tags are free. Tags are counted as follows:
- Each utilized value (input or display) counts as 1 tag.
- Each allocated array element is 1 tag. For example, an array allocated to 100 elements with dimensions of 3x4 counts as 100 tags. If such an array will permanently have dimensions of 3x4, it is sufficient that it be allocated to 12 elements.
- Each signal displayed in a trend counts as 10 tags.
If the number of tags exceeds the visualization licence limit, this is visibly indicated, but the visualization continues to work. Purchasing the necessary licence removes this indication.
By selecting the 2K option, you will receive a total of 2,048 tags, while the 4K option provides 4,096 tags, the 8K option includes 8,192 tags, and the Ultimate option offers an unlimited number of tags.
